A 10-minute immersive journey into the heart of Sabae City — Japan’s legendary capital of handcrafted eyewear. Told through the presence of artisan-surfer Narito Takeuchi and the guiding voice of filmmaker Gabriel Moreno, the film blends culture, spirituality, craftsmanship, and lifestyle into one seamless story.
The film opens with a quiet introduction to Sabae and the Megane Museum, where Narito’s visit to a small shrine reveals his spiritual grounding and the gratitude that anchors his life. From there, the story shifts to the rhythm of the ocean — Narito surfing with fluid grace, connecting the sea’s energy to the creativity he brings back to land.
Inside his family’s factory, we witness the intimate, inherited craft of hand-shaping acetate into eyewear, a tradition passed down through generations. Each frame becomes a symbol of devotion, precision, and heritage.
The journey leads into the warm, personal world of the StoneD Eyewear® Gallery, where Narito’s creations, surfboards, instruments, and handmade pieces coexist — a space where lifestyle, art, and identity merge.
Through poetic narration, the film explores themes of intention, legacy, and the spaces that give meaning to what we create. Not just a portrait of a craftsman, the documentary reveals how a way of life, fused with culture and nature, shapes an artist — and the frames through which we see the world.
"日本のアイウェアの世界"
本作は、日本が誇る手仕事の眼鏡の都・鯖江市の核心へと沈み込む、10分間の没入型ジャーニーである。
職人でありサーファーでもある竹内成仁の存在、そして映像作家ガブリエル・モレノの声によって語られる物語は、文化・精神性・クラフトマンシップ・ライフスタイルがひとつに溶け合うシームレスな世界を描き出す。
物語は静かに幕を開ける。
鯖江の街、そしてめがねミュージアム。
小さな祠を訪れる成仁の姿は、彼の精神的な根、そして人生を支える感謝の心を静かに映し出す。
そこから物語は海のリズムへと移り、成仁が波とひとつになるように滑らかにサーフィンをする姿が描かれる。
海のエネルギーを陸へ持ち帰り、創造へとつなげていく瞬間がそこにある。
彼の家族が営む工場では、アセテートを手で削り、温度と感覚で形をつくる、世代を超えて受け継がれた技が息づく。
一本一本のフレームが、献身・精密さ・伝統の象徴となっていく。
旅はやがて、StoneD Eyewear®ギャラリーの温かく個人的な空間へと続く。
そこには成仁の作品、サーフボード、楽器、ハンドメイドの品々が共存し、ライフスタイル・アート・アイデンティティが溶け合う世界が広がる。
詩的なナレーションを通して、この映画は“意図”、“遺産”、“そして私たちが創るものに意味を与える場所”というテーマを探求する。
これは単なる職人の肖像ではなく、文化と自然、そして生き方そのものがどのようにしてひとりのアーティストを形づくり、
そして私たちが“世界を見るフレーム”を生み出していくのかを描いたドキュメンタリーである。
"Dinosaurs Capital"
Fukui hides many secrets — some carved in stone, others stitched in silence. In this 5-minute short film, a lone voice drifts through the “City of Dinosaurs,” searching for something that seems to exist halfway between myth and reality: the factory destined to create the brand’s first apparel collection.
As prehistoric giants watch from every corner of the city, the journey becomes a strange maze of shadows, empty streets, and ancient monuments that feel alive. The voice-over reveals a traveler unsure if he’s following a map… or being guided by the creatures that once ruled this land.
When the path finally leads inside the hidden factory, the atmosphere shifts. Machines hum like dormant beasts awakening, and skilled hands work quietly, as if continuing a ritual thousands of years old.
This is not just a story about production — it’s a story about discovery. About getting lost on purpose. About a collection born in a place where the past breathes, the present listens, and the future begins to shape itself in fabric and thread.

福井は多くの秘密を隠している――
石に刻まれたものもあれば、静寂の中で縫い合わされたものもある。
この5分間のショートフィルムでは、ひとつの声が「恐竜の街」を漂いながら、神話と現実のあいだに存在する何かを探している。
それはブランド初のアパレルコレクションを生み出す、運命づけられた工場だ。
街のあらゆる場所から先史時代の巨影がこちらを見つめる中、旅路は奇妙な迷路へと変わっていく。
影、誰もいない通り、そしてまるで生きているかのような古代のモニュメント…。
語り手は、地図を辿っているのか、それともかつてこの地を支配した生き物たちに導かれているのか分からなくなっていく。
やがて道は隠された工場へとつながり、空気が変わる。
機械はまるで眠っていた獣が目を覚ますように唸り、熟練した手が何千年も続く儀式のように静かに動き続ける。
これは単なる“生産”の物語ではない。
“発見”の物語だ。
あえて迷うという選択。
そして、過去が息づき、現在が耳を澄まし、未来が布と糸の中で形をつくり始める場所で生まれたコレクションの物語である。
